Aristata Press publishes fresh literary fiction, poetry and narrative non-fiction

We are constantly seeking fresh voices, and believe that authors should have complete creative control over their craft. Our focus areas are literary fiction, poetry and narrative non-fiction.  We believe in quality control, and will only agree to work with authors who do too. If you are selected as an Aristata Press author, we will work with you to get to the end product you want. Furthermore, any profits reaped from publication of your book will belong entirely to you.  If you are interested in working on a project with us and in learning more about our services, be sure to get in touch with us using our contact form.

NON-FICTION

Aristata Press currently has six narrative non-fiction projects in process. In October of 2022 we published LEAVINGS by Megan McClard and Díganle a mi madre que estoy en el paraíso: Memorias de una prisionera política en El Salvador, Aristata Press’s first book in translation, edited by Judy Blankenship and Andrew Wilson. The original edition in English was published in 2022 by University of Alabama Press under the title, Tell Mother I’m in Paradise: Memoirs of a Political Prisoner in El Salvador

POETRY

Plans are in the works for publishing several poetry books. One book will be dedicated to the poetry of Megan McClard. We are in discussion with other poets.

FICTION

We are considering a couple of novels, and are also interested in publishing illustrated children’s fiction and young adult titles under a new imprint that we are working on developing. Stay tuned for announcements.

We have several projects brewing with other authors, so be sure to follow us. You can find us on Facebook and LinkedIn.
